A justice of the peace of the province of Sechura, in piuradenounced the lawyers and representatives of two fishing companies who tried to bribe him by offering him a kickback of 3 thousand dollars to issue a resolution in favor of said companies in a process that is being ventilated in his office.

Humberto Querevalu Eche, Justice of the Peace of Sechura, filed a complaint with the Sechura Corporate Criminal Provincial Prosecutor for the alleged crime of specific active bribery. According to the complaint made on January 27, 2023.
The complaint includes the lawyer Iby Castañeda Seminario, Rodrigo Callupe Landeo, Luis Robles Lozano, Manuel Sánchez Ulloa, the Peruvian SAC Business Group represented by Francisco Morales Diego, Kiara Tello Sánchez, Manuel Sánchez Ulloa. Also to the fishing company Yoly SAC represented by Katty Sanchez López and Igor Peralta Urizar.
According to the complaint, the Sechura First Nomination Justice of the Peace received in his office on December 20 the lawyers Iby Castañeda and Rodrigo Calle, both of whom would have presented themselves as representatives of the companies Peruvian SAC and Pesquera Yoly presenting 10 requests for withdrawal of immovable property, which already have precautionary measures issued within a process of obligation to give a sum of money, which is ventilated in this court.

The judge accepted the documents and informed the applicants that he would review the files and issue a response. However, the lawyers made it clear that they had an interest in speedy action. In one part of the video you hear:
Iby Castañeda (IC): The question is as follows, if you (judge) can make a resolution for tomorrow.
Humberto Querevalu (HQ): I have to read it.
IC: At speed… well, I understand you, but… do you want to have a good Christmas? We want it fast.
IC: You tell me in any case if they want the favorable resolution to work, we fix it without any problem… we all had a good Christmas…
Later, the lawyer receives a call supposedly from a certain Lucho who would be Luis Robles Lozano:
IC: Lucho I am going to put you on speakerphone. He (judge) is with me right now. Let’s see, Lucho, he’s talking… Lucho?… friend, your WhatsApp can’t be heard well… (referring to connectivity problems)… Speak (referring to Luis Robles so that he could already start talking).
Lucho (Luis Augusto Robles Lozano) speaks through Iby Castañeda’s cell phone): Look Engineer… you know that in life you have to know how to win and lose… Iby is a friend of mine… The Supreme Court has annulled the entire process … there is an issue of prevarication. I promise you today or first thing tomorrow… I am giving you 3 thousand dollars for the disaffection… and I’m going to give it to Iby tomorrow so that he can reach you… I promise that this issue will come to nothing… it has to be a clearly consolidated issue.
