‘8 Mile’ redefined Eminem’s legacy

‘Straight Outta Compton’ is one of the best musical biopics

Within hip-hop culture, rap is the music par excellence.. ‘Beat Street’ Is A Film That Incredibly Captures The Beginnings Of Hip-Hop

As read in the profile of Apple TV (where you can see in purchase or rent modality), Beat Street is considered ‘one of the best hip-hop movies ever’. And it is that there are few tapes that really give a broad panorama of the elements that make up hip-hop culture.

This story follows a group of friends in which each one works within the spheres of the DJ, breakdancing, MC’s and graffiti, among other things. Each one will do everything possible to obtain recognition and a better life opportunity… but they will also realize the difficulties and even the tragedies that this entails.

This is one of the movies about hip-hop that not many remember, but it was has some pretty cool things that are worth watching if you’re a lover of the musical genre. Kush Groove It’s basically a biopic about how he started the iconic Def Jam Recordings label.although with some substantial changes to the real story.

Here, we meet the record executive Russell Walker, who has slowly been able to sign some of the hottest rap/hip-hop acts to Kush Groove Records of the moment in the 80s. But that ambition and getting ahead of the record company will not be easy.
