Lezama refines strategy with US ambassador to avoid warnings

According to the Ambassador of the United States of America, Kenneth Lee Salazar, there is great economic and tourist potential in the Mexican southeast. Therefore, work is being done together with the Quintana Roo government on matters such as security for the sector, with strategies such as the reinforcement of the Guest Assist platform.

The foregoing was addressed during the Mexico-United States of America Bilateral Meeting to trigger development with social justice in the south-southeast of Mexico, also headed by the governor of Quintana Roo, Mara Lezama Espinosa. In this meeting, where other local and American diplomatic and political personalities participated, they worked to strengthen cooperation ties at the commercial, economic, tourist, security and environmental levels.

For her part, Mara Lezama, reported that, among the objectives of the agreement, she highlights strengthening work ties to promote prosperity and shared well-being for citizens. She pointed out that the agenda included the issue of the implementation of new tools that strengthen the Guest Assist platform and also plans to reinforce the tourist service strategy through the installation of an inter-institutional table for tourist security.
