The power of lightning literally blew up a chimney at the top of the house, sending multiple bricks falling onto the sidewalk and onto a pickup truck.
A video captured the moment the lightning strikes the roof of the house located on Mass. Ave. in the South End of Boston after 7 pm. In just seconds the lightning struck the home throwing debris, ripping out a fence, and the worst part was taken by a parked truck.
Despite the damage caused and the dozens of bricks and debris that flew and fell all over the block, fortunately no one was hurt.
