In the case of Santiago Ascacíbar (25), there are apparently signs of a permanent farewell to Hertha BSC. According to ‘Bild’, loan club Estudiantes de La Plata are satisfied with the performance of the midfielder and Ascacíbar also want to stay in Argentina. With a purchase option of three million euros, the transfer can be made permanent in the summer.
More money could come from Italy. According to ‘Bild’, striker Krzysztof Piatek (27), loaned to US Salernitana, is up for grabs with nine million euros. The sale of central defender Omar Alderete (26), who is currently playing for Getafe FC in Spain, would bring 7.5 million.
A purchase option is also anchored in the loan agreement of winger Myziane Maolida (24). Stade Reims would have to “a low million sum” bring up. So does Hellas Verona: The Italians have a one-million-euro purchase clause for right-back Deyovaisio Zeefuik (24), who is not yet deployed – as of now, a (temporary) return to Berlin is more likely.
