In the first game, the team from Lustenau met the girls from the federal capital. The always balanced game in the morning was not an easy game. Up until the 22nd minute of the game, the girls from HC Bösch Bauen + Wohnen Lustenau were never able to pull away more than one goal. However, that changed abruptly and the game clock suddenly showed the score of 12:10 for the home team. But it stayed that way and the Bregenz women made it exciting until the final whistle. In the end, however, the women from Lustenau were able to prevail and finished the first match with 13:12.

After a short break and a subsequent meeting, the team from Lustenau focused on the game against the women from Ems. The team and the coaching staff knew that fast attacking play was the key to victory. However, implementation failed. Unfortunately, it was not possible for the girls, as originally discussed, to score easy goals through quick counterattacks. However, the girls from HC Bösch Bauen + Wohnen Lustenau showed a cool head in the positional play, so that they were able to pull away with 4 goals in the 20th minute of the game. Final score: 15:17 for Lustenau.

In the afternoon it was time. The home team played against the strong Harder girls from Lake Constance in the Lustenau handball hall. The women from Lustenau knew they had to score from the start. The pressure was on, both for the players and for the coaching duo, as the championship seemed within reach. With a successful start to the game, the girls from Lustenau built up a small cushion with a score of 4:1. Now it was time to keep this game and continue to expand the score. Due to the tireless ambition and a top performance of the team, our girls had arrived at the highlight of the day. The women from Lustenau were in goal mood and fought for the next 2 points with a 20:11.

The joy of winning the state championships is huge. The girls from Lustenau are happy to be able to represent the state at the state championships in Styria and to be able to compete against their colleagues from other federal states at the ÖMS.
