Anton Stach does not want to commit himself 100 percent to FSV Mainz 05. “In the end, you can never say for sure that you’re staying or not. So let’s see. Conference League, Euro League, Champions League – that’s definitely an obvious goal for me.”explains the physically strong midfielder in an interview with ‘Bild’.
After ten unbeaten games in a row, Mainz are in seventh place and are close to the European Cup ranks. Stach says about the interest of other clubs – Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund, among others, have put out feelers: “If everyone should be right, that is of course nice to hear. But I haven’t noticed that much about it myself and I’m not dealing with it at all at the moment, I’m currently concentrating exclusively on myself and our season.”
