– We realized that the conversations that were normal for us to have were perhaps not common in the majority of father-daughter relationships.
That’s what actress Chloé-Fleur Kolstad (18) says, who has started a podcast with dad and “Hotel Cæsar” star Kim Kolstad (52).
The podcast has been named “Generasjonspodden” and the 18-year-old says that here she will talk to her father about everything between heaven and earth.
Depression, adultery and porn
Chloé-Fleur, who has made her mark as an actress in “Kjære landsmenn”, says that they will visit a number of different topics in the podcast.
– We are both concerned with how to achieve as much peace and inner calm as possible, but we also think it’s fun to talk about more tabloid topics.
Some of the topics the duo will discuss are:
– We will talk about infidelity, racism, what it’s like to kiss people on TV, porn, but also about depression, anxiety and some spirituality.
Love to work together
Kolstad says that she and her father have long had a dream of working together. That it would be through a podcast was not quite what she had initially guessed.
– We’ve had a small dream of doing it for a long time, but then we mostly talked about acting together. It was probably a podcast first! We are energetic types and have similar visions, so we are filled up by each other’s energy.
Kim Kolstad is known to many as the character Jens August in the Norwegian soap opera “Hotel Cæsar”. The program was broadcast on TV 2 from 1998 to 2017.
Chloé-Fleur Kolstad is well known for her role in the drama comedy “Kjære landsmenn”, where she plays opposite Ine Jansen and Atle Antonsen, among others.
Good evening Norway has tried to get a comment from Kim Kolstad, so far without success.
