Man shoots in entertainment center;  hurt two people

Police in suburban Romeoville are searching for a man suspected of shooting two people Friday night at the Scene75 Entertainment Center, authorities said.

According to the report, the shooting occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m. at the amusement complex located at 460 S. Weber Rd. Details about what led up to the incident have not been released, but police say two people were shot. injured and taken to area hospitals in unknown conditions.

Officers recommended avoiding the area while they worked to process the scene. In a Facebook post at 9:45 p.m., the town of Romeoville said police were working to identify a suspect, noting that the investigation was in its “early stages.”

Photos posted by various people on social media showed a large number of emergency vehicles, including police cars, fire trucks and ambulances, outside the amusement complex.

Scene75 describes itself as having “135,000 square feet of fun,” including 14 rides like go-karts, a roller coaster, a drop tower and more.
