At the end of each shift, the money that has gone into the register is tallied up, but if there is a discrepancy, McDonald’s allegedly charges the employees that difference, according to what the worker said.

The woman said that one day $10 dollars was missing and that they told her that they would deduct that from her payment.

However, the employee also commented that when the cash register has a surplus of money, it is not distributed to the workers.

The worker also took the opportunity to complain that the company now gives them less free food, since she says that they no longer allow her to have frozen drinks, when they did allow it before.

It should be noted that, according to the legal information site Illinois Legal Aidit is illegal for businesses to take money when it is needed at the cash register.

Companies might take steps to discipline you and even fire you, but they couldn’t take money from youunless the worker accepts it in writing.

And it is that any deduction from salary that the employer makes you must be totally voluntary on your part.
