Guillermo OchoaThe 37-year-old signed a contract with Salernitana (Italian Serie A) until the end of the season, the Italian club announced this Friday in a statement.

La Salernitana “closed an agreement with the goalkeeper born in 1985 Guillermo Ochoa. The footballer committed to the club until June 30, 2023 with the possibility of renewal and will wear number 13,” the club said on its website.

The goalkeeper comes from playing his fifth World Cup with the ‘Aztec’ team in Qatar.
After starting his career in Mexico, ‘Memo’ Ochoa made the leap to Europe to play for Ajaccio (French Ligue 1) where he spent three seasons. He continued his career in Spain, at Málaga and Granada, and at Standard de Liège (Belgium).

Since 2019 he played for América de México.
La Salernitana currently occupies 12th place in Serie A.
