Miami-Dade employee is attacked by dogs while serving eviction order

A Miami-Dade employee serving an eviction warrant had to be hospitalized after being attacked by two dogs Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The incident occurred at 211 9th Avenue in the southwest of the city of Miami and was captured on surveillance video.

She was taken to a nearby hospital to treat her injuries.

Miami police officers said the victim was serving the eviction order when two dogs came out of the house and one of them bit her ear and buttocks.

The person was transported to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, Miami Fire Department officials said. His identity was not revealed.

Police said the dogs are American Bulldogs, which were taken into the custody of Miami-Dade County Animal Services for mandatory quarantine.
