Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak continues on its way and will soon receive a big free update. New monsters and new quests on the program.

Capcom has just revealed the main content for its next big Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak 4.0 update. The hit game continues to rack up the millions, and the developers go to great lengths to regularly bring content galore, including equipment, challenges and ever more gigantic creatures. Soon, moreover, new monsters and exclusive missions will land for free on Switch and PC.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak welcomes its 4.0 update

With its 4.0 update on Switch and PC, Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will host several large monsters, including the Elder Dragon Velkana (recently seen in Monster hunter World Iceborne) and a very aggressive version of the Scarlet Valstrax. New equipment will of course be included, including weapons and armor.
As a bonus, this update will increase the level of Investigating Anomalies to 220 and new research quests will be added which will notably require you to face several Elder Dragons. Even the terrible Gore Magala will be honored. Capcom also announces that several event quests will boost the game in the coming weeks and that a whole bunch of cosmetic rewards (costumes, emotes, etc.) will be up for grabs by completing these new challenges.

In addition, cosmetic DLCs, paying this time, will be put on sale in stride for the greatest collectors.

The big 4.0 update of Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will be available for free on Nintendo Switch and PC from February 7th. Another important update will arrive in April, as announced by Capcom’s roadmap visible at the end of the trailer. The return of an Elder Dragon and several powerful new monster variants are expected. Until then, gear up!
The PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One versions of Monster Hunter Rise are still waiting for the expansion to arrive. Sunbreak which should land by spring.
