Guadalupe y Calvo.- The municipal presidency organized a farewell tribute to the deputy mayor of Guadalupe y Calvo and director of Rural Development, shot to death last weekend in Parral.
Relatives, friends and co-workers of the Guadalupe y Calvo City Council paid tribute and said their last goodbye to the “Cuco” López Valenzuela Shelter, director of Rural Development and also acting mayor’s deputy.
At 3 o’clock in the afternoon, leave in the funeral procession in a caravan of more than 200 vehicles heading to the pantheon of that town, where they performed the tribute of the body present and the last roll call.
“Cuco” was veiled at his mother’s house in the community of Ojuelos, section of Atascaderos, with honor guards present there.
During the ceremony, the attendees gave a minute of applause, before a musical group played some melodies.
