This album demonstrates the level of creativity of Natalia Lafourcade, showing the purity and naturalness that characterizes her, as well as her chameleonic ability to explore new musical genres from jazz, bossa nova to bolero, with lyrics in which themes predominate over the life, death, love, heartbreak, inclusion, femininity, mysticism and healing.
“I had a lot of fun visiting a lot of genres and beautiful composers,” says Natalia. “And then I felt an internal call. In the middle of the pandemic, I realized that I was hiding, which made me reflect and understand that I had to break the ice and go back to the recording studio,” she added.
Throughout her career, the singer has received 28 Latin Grammy nominations, winning 15 of them, the last being for the Best Long Form Music Video category with “Hasta La Raíz, El Documental”. In addition, she also received 8 Grammy Award nominations, of which she won 3, receiving the award for Best Regional Mexican Album with “Un Canto Por México: El Musical”.
