NBC New England, NBC10 Bostonand NBC Sports Boston announced today that together they are the proud winners of 18 Regional Emmy Awards, presented this past weekend by NATAS New England, a division of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
NBC10 Boston is a proud recipient of two Emmy Awards for its work on DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION.
“We work closely with our communities, listening to what is important to them and reporting on the stories that impact their lives,” says Chris Wayland, president and general manager of the Boston stations of NBC and Telemundo. “Being recognized for our DEI work will simply fuel us to continue covering these important stories and giving everyone a voice.”
During the 46th Annual Boston/New England Emmy Awards held at the Boston Marriott Copley, NBC10 Boston’s INVESTIGATORS were recognized multiple times. Your diligence and ability to dig for the truth and demand answers have led to a record of real change in the Commonwealth.
NBC New England had a big night winning five Emmy Awards, including one for the RESPONDE consumer unit, which responds to all calls and emails from viewers to help with consumer issues. The Telemundo team continually delivers content that resonates with Spanish-speaking communities.
When it comes to live sports, nobody does it better than NBC Sports Boston, home of the Boston Celtics. The best sports team in the industry won an EMMY in LIVE SPORTS COVERAGE for its coverage of the Celtics game.
