Not only at FC Everton do they want to take advantage of the moment – in Turkey they also hope to benefit from the transfer drama about playmaker Isco (30). Mehmet Akcan, vice-president at Süper Lig eighth Konyaspor, speaks openly to ‘as’ about the efforts to attract the Spaniard.
“It is correct, we are in negotiations with Isco. I can say that the talks are going well”, according to Akcan. The Turks are themselves “Not sure yet if we can reach an agreement, otherwise we would say so openly. We’re doing everything we can to close the deal.”

But Akcan is confident: “We have until the 8th of this month but I think the issue with Isco will be sorted out one way or another as soon as possible. Now we have a chance to complete the transfer. We are positive.”
