The planter with flowers placed in front of the plaque in memory of Valentino Mazzola in the garden named after him in Nichelino was stolen
Ugly episode of incivility in Nichelino: the planter with all the flowers usually placed in front of the plaque in memory of Valentino Mazzola, which is located right in the garden in via Trento named after the captain of the Grande Torino, was stolen: only the two bricks remained on which the planter rested. Furthermore, dirt of various kinds was left around the plate. The president of the Toro Club Nichelino, Mario Cacciolatto, denounced the fact in a post published on Facebook: “Whoever took or who knows where threw the planter that was in front of the plate of Valentino Mazzola, captain of the Grande Torino, should have more respect and more education”.
