A Nintendo presented the latest report regarding the company’s financial results where, in addition to noting a slowdown in Nintendo Switch sales, it also indicates that it expects to sell just 15 million units in the next fiscal year.
“It will be difficult to sustain Switch sales momentum into its seventh year. Our goal of selling 15 million units this fiscal year will be a bit difficult.”advances the president of Nintendo, Shuntaro Furukawa.
Despite this, it seems that Nintendo’s strategy for the next fiscal year will not go through a new Switch model or alternative version like the Switch Lite or the Switch OLED. Nothing prevents Nintendo from deciding to surprise fans but, in any case, it would be better not to rely on this strategy.
“We are going to try not only to put one (Switch) in every house, but several and every house or even one unit for each person”said the executive.
