For the third consecutive week, there was a decrease in cases of COVID-19 in Argentina. In the last few hours 8,614 were confirmed new infections (55.63% less than the previous week)while another 56 were reported deaths due to the disease (37.08% less than the previous period). The new sanitary part of the Ministry of Health was informed this Monday, although the information reported by the provinces was updated last Sunday.

In this way, there are 130,394 officially registered deaths at the national level and 10,032,709 infected since the start of the pandemic. The health portfolio indicated that there are 363 people admitted with coronavirus in intensive care units, while the percentage of occupancy of adult beds in the public and private sectors, for all pathologies, is 41.1%.

During the last week, 17 people died in the province of Buenos Aires, 2 in the city of Buenos Aires, 4 in Chaco, 3 in Córdoba, 2 in Entre Ríos, 2 in La Pampa, 4 in Mendoza, 1 in Misiones, 8 in Neuquén, 4 in Río Negro, 1 in Salta, 1 in San Luis, 3 in Santa Fe and 2 in Santiago del Estero.

According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, the total number of doses applied amounts to 113,924,732, of which 41,115,562 received one dose, 37,980,764 both, 3,168,317 an additional one, 22,374,045 the first reinforcement, 7,687,508 the second, and 1,589,363 the third.
