NEW YORK — A man died after a stab attack on the south side of washington square parkthe police announced.
The busy Manhattan park was closed Wednesday afternoon as first responders rushed to help a victim who was stabbed in the chest. Police say the man was in his 30s.
Just hours after the incident, which took place at 4:30 p.m., police reported that the man had succumbed to his injuries.
Police are reportedly searching for two suspects wanted in connection with the stabbing, but descriptions were not immediately provided.
