One person is killed and three others are injured in a deadly shooting Tuesday in El Bnronx.
According to the police, the incident occurred at around six fifteen in the afternoon, near Mt. Eden and Townsend avenues, when two men traveling on the back of the two scooters opened fire on a group that was in the corner.
Miguel Doleo, a 29-year-old man, was hit in the chest and died. Emergency services transported him to the Bronx hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
In addition, the authorities indicate that when they arrived at the scene, they saw three other men, one 23, another 37, and a last 31 with injuries to his legs.
All of them were taken to the hospital for treatment, and are expected to recover.
So far this year, the NYPD has seized 9,500 scooters and other similar vehicles, including 2,500 in the Bronx alone.
Now, the uniformed police say they are focusing mainly on monitoring drivers of scooters and other similar unauthorized vehicles.
