Peruvian Civic Center delivers toys in Christmas activity

More than 300 toys, panettone, and especially hot chocolate were distributed yesterday in Queens to dozens of families, as part of the Christmas Eve celebration in the best Peruvian style.

This is the first chocolate party organized by the Peruvian Civic Center of New York.

With visible pride, the president of this institution, Sandro Stefano Navarro, explained some details of the event.

“We are grateful to all of you, to all the families who were present today. The toys were sold out, the panettone and the chocolate were sold out and we are very happy that we were able to give them a little love, a little bit of love, a little thanks to all the members of our community who support us so much, our first Christmas chocolate in all the events we have done this last year.”

The celebration featured music and toys were distributed to the children by Santa Claus himself. Some of the attendees stated that what they liked most about this initiative was having the opportunity to share a different day with their family.
