The Google Pixel 7A will celebrate its premiere at the I/O developer conference in early May and has been haunting the rumor mill for quite some time. The device basically offers the same hardware base as last year’s Google Pixel 7 series flagship smartphones in the form of the Google Tensor G2 octa-core processor.
As in the previous year, the Google Pixel 7A as the “A model” will have some drawbacks compared to the top models. Buyers have to live with a slightly wider frame around the display and there are of course clear differences in the cameras, especially compared to the Pixel 7 Pro.
Four colors, three in free sale
Visually, however, the device fits seamlessly into the ranks of Google’s latest smartphones with its case available in carbon grey, cotton white and arctic blue. In addition to the color variants mentioned here in which the Pixel 7A will be available over the counter, Google could also offer another color, which should then be sold exclusively through the group’s online store, according to previous reports.
So far, we only have the previously leaked data on the technical equipment of the Google Pixel 7A. The device will therefore come with a 6.1-inch full HD display with a maximum refresh rate of up to 90 Hertz and an AMOLED panel, bring eight gigabytes of RAM and have 128 or 256 GB of internal flash memory. A combination of two 12-megapixel sensors should be used for the cameras.
