And this is understandable, because It is more exciting to see the closure of one group than the continuation of another (It is not known what the plans are with Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly).
It also comes from the work that James Gunn has done with the franchise. The first two installments were exceptional, and the characters were so well written, they were easily integrated into the MCU.
