Porsche burns down, Davina Geiss in danger – “I could have died in this car”

Car nightmare instead of dream car!

Shock for the Geissens! As Robert Geiss (58) announced on Instagram on Thursday, his new Porsche GT3 (costs at least 179,000 euros, has 510 hp, does 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, drives up to 320 km/h) in the garage burned down.

The incident also affected daughter Davina. According to her own statement, the 19-year-old was in the hospital for hours with smoke poisoning and is now doing well again, given the circumstances.

In her Instagram stories, Davina describes the course of the accident like this: “Worst night! Our Porsche GT3 just started to burn out of nowhere and even exploded. How can that be with a new car?”

The eldest daughter of Robert and Carmen Geiss (57) continued: “It was the shock of my life, I was in the hospital for 5 hours and even had to be supplied with oxygen because I had smoke inhalation. I thank God I’m still alive.”

In another story, Davina comments on the accident with drastic words: “I could have died in this car.”

However, she writes to her parents: “But mom and dad, I’m fine again, only the shock is still deep.”

It is unclear whether Davina was in the car during the explosion. Also how the catastrophe could have happened.

Robert Geiss on Instagram: “That was my new GT3, now a total loss. How something like this can happen is a mystery to me, so I’m curious to see what Porsche says about it.” According to the entrepreneur, the car caught fire “while standing”. The concerned father: “Thank God nothing bad happened to my daughter. Thank God.”

Meanwhile, his daughter praises Robert Geiss: “But the most important thing about the whole thing is that nothing happened to you, my dear. You reacted great. Dad is proud of you because it could have turned out differently!!!”
