During the last few years, Princess Märtha Louise (51) has started several commercial companies.

In 2020 came the company Hést AS, where the princess is one of the board members. The company sells knitted jumpers, and has published a knitting book. In addition, she is chairman of Hést360 AS, which produces film, video and television programmes.

In 2021 came the company Dragonflies AS, which she started together with TV profile Lilli Bendriss (76).

It says that Dragonflies AS will operate “development and production of TV projects on all digital surfaces as well as services within self-development”.

The first planned event under the auspices of this company will take place on February 28, and has been announced on the princess’s own social media platforms.

The year before, she also started the limited company PML International AS.

Here, the princess is chairman of the board.

Have started a new company

Now Märtha Louise has helped start yet another new company.

The company Cano AS was registered in the Brønnøysund register on 21 November last year. The princess is listed as a board member, and is one of four involved in the company.

According to information from the Brønnøysund Register, Cano AS “invest in IT solutions and develop technological solutions for various healthcare services”.

The company is subject to the industry “internet design and programming”which is therefore a new industry for the princess and her companies.

Will not comment for now

Good evening Norway has been in contact with the princess’s manager, Carina Scheele Carlsen, who does not wish to comment on the matter at this time.

The chairman of the board, Elisabeth Schei Bråten, writes in a text message that “This is something we don’t want to comment on yet.”

Schei Bråten runs his own coaching company. Alongside her and Princess Märtha Louise, the company consists of general manager Ivar André Støen and board member Jarle Bråten. The latter two, among other things, run a company together with a focus on business consultancy and other administrative consultancy.

Resigned their roles

In November, the Palace and the princess announced that she will retain the title of princess, but that she will stop representing the royal house.

In that connection, she conveyed to the organizations for which she was a patron that she is renouncing her patronage, which has laid the framework for her official duties.

– We do this to create peace around the royal house. I am happy that we have had a good process with a high ceiling, and where everyone has had the opportunity to listen to each other, said the princess at the time.

Ahead of the announcement, a process was underway to clarify Princess Märtha Louise’s role in the royal household.

Several advocated that the king had to do something to create greater distance between her and her fiance Durek Verrett’s work and the Norwegian royal house.

Since Princess Märtha Louise and Durek Verrett became a couple in 2019, there have been several controversies surrounding them and Verrett’s work as a shaman.

Three months after Princess Märtha Louise stopped representing the royal house, she stated this week in an interview with SVT that she hopes to be able to do missions again.

In the interview, she says that she is sorry that she lost the assignments.

– I have people with disabilities as my field, and I think that it has been very rewarding and wonderful. And I hope I have done a good job for them too, says the princess in the SVT interview.
