Producer reveals that the team was attentive to fan theories

Kevin Wrightexecutive producer of Loki, revealed in a recent interview that the team was attentive to fan theories surrounding the series and the future of the MCU.

In an interview with Screen Rant, Wright commented on how the production team dealt with theories raised on social media, and highlighted that they left several clues throughout the series, but some of them were just there to confuse fans.

Check out what Kevin Wright stated below:

I love reading all of this, and we read it all in the first season, he said. Something that Kate (Herron, Loki writer and director) and I talked a lot about in season 1 that led to everything we’ve done now in season 2 was: We know that every frame is going to be paused and watched, so anything you put in there It needs to be highly intentional and able to withstand the scrutiny of those observing you.

It’s a great way to interact with the public and say: We know you’re looking, so let’s put things there to make it clear that we know you’re looking!’ Maybe some of these things are pointing in the right direction, others may be there to purposely mislead people or make them think one thing so we can hit them harder with another.”

Wright then chose his favorite theories, highlighting how much fun they were for him:

The only fun thing I saw this season was two things, actually. continues the producer. “One said that Jack, the manager of McDonald’s (where Sylvie was), was the young Mobius. And that Mobius might be a variant of Odin!? Justin (Benson) and Aaron (Moorhead) (the directors of season 2) often told me They said to stop looking at (fan theories) and I said, ‘I can’t help it. I love it.’ And I think the series is better for it because we’re involved with it.
