Within the framework of the proceedings for the extradition of Alexander Toledoinvestigated for alleged money laundering, the National Prosecutor, Patricia Benavidesled a routine meeting with the former president.
The person involved in the cases Ecoteva and interoceanicaccused by the Prosecutor’s Office of receiving millionaire bribes from odebrechtturned himself in to the justice of the United States (USA) after six years of requesting his deportation.
The Head of the Office for International Judicial Cooperation and Extraditions, Alfredo Rebaza, also participated in the session, and it was held at the National Directorate of the Air Police (DIPA).
“As the central authority in matters of extraditions (…) the extradition of Alejandro Toledo Manrique is supervised,” reported the Public ministry (MP) through your institutional account.

“The National Prosecutor explained to the former president the extradition procedure and its Fundamental rights”, indicated the MP. In its statement, the entity also reported that he will undergo a medical examination by personnel from the Institute of Legal Medicine.
