Report technical problems with Wells Fargo accounts

Wells Fargo customers have been reporting bank movements in their accounts since Thursday that affect their finances.

A user wrote on social networks, with the hashtag #WellsFargo, that the banking institution had lost its redemption of points due to a technical failure.

Other unusual movements, such as open accounts or withdrawals without consent, have been documented in an investigation published on the portal of NBCNews.

“We apologize to the customer for the inconvenience. The technical teams are aware and are working to resolve the issue,” it can be read on the X account (social network originally known as Twitter), @Ask_WellsFargo.

A similar problem was experienced in 2016 with Wells Fargo, when millions of unauthorized accounts were opened for existing customers to meet sales targets.

John Stumpf, the bank’s chief executive, was then ousted.

The bank makes available the free line 1-800-869-3557 to report this type of inconvenience.
