Yesterday, at night, another 29-year-old man was arrested for gender violence towards his ex-partner, in the vicinity of the West neighborhood of the town of Campo Viera. In this case, the Police arrived before the defendant at the victim’s house, otherwise the end of the story would have been different.
The victim, a 21-year-old woman, requested police presence at her home because moments before she had received a phone call from her ex-partner, who has a complaint for domestic violence against her, threatening that he would go to her house with intentions of assaulting her.
As a result of this, the members of the Radioelectric Command and the Women’s Police Station quickly went to the site and after conducting searches in the area managed to locate the violent man. He was arrested and after a medical examination, he was housed in the police unit at the disposal of Justice.
