Ricardo Anaya attacks the SEP for textbooks: "Today the victims are girls and boys"

MEXICO CITY / (appro).- The former presidential candidate of the PAN, Ricardo Anaya Cortés, criticized for the second week in a row the distribution of free textbooks from the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), on this occasion, reproaching the insensitivity to criticism from many sectors, as well as the unwillingness to admit mistakes.

In his weekly video, which he broadcasts from somewhere in the United States where he lives to avoid judicial investigations, Anaya Cortés referred to the matter considering that “not recognizing mistakes is autocratic and arrogant.”

The specific criticisms of the also former national leader of the PAN, took up some of the aspects already exposed on social networks, such as the wrong solar system, the change in the date of birth of Benito Juárez from March 21 to 18.

“Today the victims are the girls and boys who are going to be left without the necessary tools to get ahead. This is downright criminal,” she expressed.

In addition, he mentioned that textbooks are not only full of ideology, but also, he said, they are riddled with errors.

In this regard, he added that the writing of the books was in charge of people without preparation and as proof is that they reserved that information for five years. In other words, the list of those who made the mistakes will be hidden for five years.
