The writer of Saints Row 2 and Bioshock Infinite returns to the Far Cry saga to deal with the next installment

It’s no secret that the Far Cry franchise has lost its luster over the years. The last installment, Far Cry 6, was not a great thing for many fans… at least if we talk about its history. Characters Vaas Montenegro and Joseph Seed Far Cry 3 and 5 set the bar very high and the character of Giancarlo Esposito (incredible actor) is not up to the task.

Everything depends on far cry 7. We know almost nothing about the installment, but we do know that it will have a veteran in making action stories: Drew Holmeswriter of Saints Row 2 and Saint’s Row: The Third, co-wrote Bioshock Infinite with Ken Levine and later helmed the Burial at Sea expansion. Additionally, he is known in the franchise for writing the stories for Far Cry 5 and New Dawn.

While Holmes’ presence may come as a relief to Far Cry fans, it doesn’t ensure that the next installment will be as good as the best. If things don’t change, it will Ubisoft Toronto (Watch Dogs: Legion, farcry 6) the study in charge of creating Far Cry 7.

As we have pointed out, we do not have much information about far cry 7. The leaks indicate that the setting would take place on a fictional island in the yellow sea next to Korea, which could include a mode called Far Cry: Conquest (Tarkov roll), coop of up to 4 players and that would abandon the numbering of deliveries. Nothing confirmed. It is likely that we will still take time to see it. Before that will arrive Star Wars Outlaws, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora and Splinter Cell Remake.
