Ricardo Arjona announces his retirement from the stage due to health problems

In the text, Arjona highlighted that in recent weeks he has had to undergo six infiltrations in the spine to be able to remain standing and fulfill the commitment he had with his followers. However, he stressed that it is time to face the situation, since he cannot continue postponing the surgery to which he must submit.

“To all the cities that this tour of 159 concerts touched, my eternal gratitude. To the doctors who put me on my feet so I could finish this trip by postponing an imminent surgery, thank you very much. I have had 6 spinal infiltrations with me in the last two months to to be able to remain standing in this farewell,” he said.

A definitive retirement?

Although this shows an imminent withdrawal from the music scene for a time, the artist made it clear that he maintains the hope of being able to return to continue sharing with those who have accompanied him throughout his career.

However, he made it clear that if he does not find a greater reason to return, he prefers to keep in his memory the good moments that music has given him.

“I’ll have to disappear to invent a reason that’s bigger than this. If I don’t find it, I’d rather not come back.
