The risk is, of course, that Samsung, true to its good habit, measured the amount of input lag and the response time in its new 2023 MicroLED panel with a “special” method, just as they measure their maximum brightness during half a second, and not during, say, a whole Film. But! Whatever the case, the tech giant’s promises are clearly interesting as they claim that their upcoming TV screens with MicroLED technology will run at 244Hz and with a response time of two nanoseconds. This 76-inch TV should then be several thousand times faster than Samsung’s latest QD-OLED, for example, and be well below 1ms in lag, which would be absolutely incredible for us gamers, of course.
