The latest medical report from the Albert Einstein hospital, where he has been hospitalized for 3 weeks, indicates that the three-time world champion presents a progression of cancer, as well as renal and cardiac dysfunction.

“Pelé presents a progression of the oncological disease and requires greater care related to renal and cardiac dysfunctions”reported the aforementioned hospital, where the former soccer player has remained since November 29 of this year.

Pelé’s family has decided to cancel their Christmas and New Year celebrations to spend parties at the hospital, accompanying the former soccer player in what would be his final hours. For several days now, his daughters have not been separated from him for a moment.

Santos makes preparations in his stadium for a possible funeral

In the last few hours, photos and videos have been shared on social networks in which preparations can be seen at the Vila Belmiro Stadium, where Santos plays its starting matches, a team in which Pelé played from 1956 to 1974.

Said preparations would be for a possible funeral, which would take place in the place where the ‘Rei’ shouted many of the goals that adorn his prestigious career.
