The woman with whom Prince Harry would have lost his virginity at the age of 17 broke his silence after the meeting was described by the Duke of Sussex himself in his book Spare as an “unglorious episode with an older woman.”
The story became one of the most talked about chapters of the bestseller and sparked a worldwide guessing game about who might be the “older woman” who succumbed to the prince’s “love”.
Sasha Walpole, 40, revealed in an interview with the British newspaper The Sun that it was Harry who took the first step for “one thing to lead to another” in an open field behind the renowned The Vine Tree bar, located in the Wiltshire town of Norton, a town in the county of South Yorkshire, England.
According to Walpole’s account, they had a “passionate five-minute romp.” A few dense bushes witnessed the real hot scene, away from the crowd.
According to the aforementioned outlet, Sasha knew Harry, as she used to work as a stable girl for the then Prince Charles on his Gloucestershire estate, and invited him to the bar to celebrate his birthday.
The two had a very close friendship, so much so that the prince himself gave him a stuffed toy of Miss Piggy with a funny greeting card where he told a joke about a whale full of flatulence, according to statements to The Sun.
In addition, he brought a tray with ten shots -five for each one-, which made the pretty couple drunk enough to “not remember” the event that is now going around the world.
After a few laughs, dances, and mischievous looks, the young prince asked, “Shall we smoke?” and they slipped away to an adjacent field for a cigarette out of sight of royal security.
“He started kissing me. It was passionate, intense. We both knew it. He went from kissing to the ground very quickly,” Walpole narrated.
“It was exciting; burning, because we shouldn’t have done it. It wasn’t Prince Harry to me, it was Harry, my friend, and things got a bit out of hand,” she added.
Sasha assured the British newspaper that the meeting was not premeditated.
“I didn’t know he was a virgin. There was no feeling of virginity, he seemed to know what he was doing. He was fast, wild, exciting. We were both drunk. Otherwise it wouldn’t have happened,” Walpole said.
The passion of the furtive encounter
According to Sasha, by the time the epic moment occurred, she was wearing very tight black jeans, as well as a top and a patterned belt.
When Harry took off her pants, the belt came loose and she had to go back to the field the next day to look for it.
“Harry, in a pink shirt, jeans and boxers, managed to stay mostly clothed. It was very dark, it was eleven at night and it was hot, ”he narrated.
In Spare, Prince Harry describes it as “a quick encounter, after which she spanked me.” Today, the label “inglorious episode” makes Sasha laugh.
