Authorities continue to search for the two juveniles who escaped from the Starr County Juvenile Detention Center on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
The minors managed to overpower a guard, took a silver 2013 Chevy Malibu and rammed the fence of the Juvenile Detention Center, managing to escape the facility. It is unknown what crimes led these two young people to prison initially.
The vehicle was located on the morning of this past Sunday, August 20, on the Pomelo highway, in Santa Rosa, Texas.
Different agencies in that area have been contacted and are actively looking for the minors.
