Mexico City.- The head of Government of the CDMX, Claudia Sheinbaum, said she did not agree with the travel alert issued by the US Embassy to its citizens after the execution of a member of the Arellano Félix Cartel in the Plaza Carso, located in the Polanco area, Mayor Miguel Hidalgo.
Yesterday, the diplomatic agency asked American citizens to be careful when visiting this area of the Capital or, if necessary, avoid going to the point.
He explained that the notice is at level two, with which citizens should be more careful due to crime.
In a conference, Sheinbaum boasted of security in the capital.
“(The murdered man) is a person who has even been searched from Oklahoma, in the United States, he is a person linked to organized crime.
“I do not agree with this statement made by the State Department and the Embassy, because the security rates in the City are increasing, that is, security in Mexico City is improving,” Sheinbaum said at a press conference.
Yesterday, Julio César Soto Meza and/or César Meza Soto, 42, was executed while in a Starbucks cafeteria.
