A man was shot at around 1:01 am this Monday, in front of the Getsemaní cemetery, on PR-121 in the Susua neighborhood, in Sabana Grande.

According to the police report, the injured party had an argument with another individual, who allegedly pulled out a firearm and fired a shot.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to his left hand, for which he was transported to the La Concepción hospital, where several stitches were taken in his hand and nose. His condition is stable.

The authorities indicated that the alleged victim refused to provide more information.

The case was referred to the Assault Division of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of Mayagüez.

They were on vacation and were on their way to visit their granddaughters when a car passed a stop and hit them.
