Subway lines B and C will not work between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. this Monday due to a strike by the Metrodelegates.

The forceful measure is to demand a reduction in the working day to 30 hours a week in order to have two francs and “reduce our exposure to asbestos,” reported the Subway and Premetro Workers Union Association (AGTSyP) in a statement signed by the general secretary of the union, Roberto Pianelli, and the assistant secretary, Néstor Segovia.

As detailed, between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., they will release the turnstiles of the Juan Manuel de Rosas and Leandro N. Alem stations on line B, and Retiro y Constitución on line C. Then, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. will interrupt the service. And from 4 to 4:30 p.m., with the service restored, they will be released again at the aforementioned stations.

The strike this Monday is in addition to the “self-defense measures” that the Metrodelegates have been carrying out to demand a reduction in the weekly working day.
