Speculation is currently circulating in the US about an unpublished book called 4C Untitled Flatiron Nonfiction Summer 2023. The book is currently available for pre-order untitled at Flatiron Bookstore.

The mystery author is believed to be the 33-year-old musician herself, according to a group of Taylor Swift’s fandom, known as the Swifties. The speculation is currently leading to a pre-order storm.

“Swifties” in search of clues

The reason for this assumption is all the “apparent” clues about the book, but also the fact that the singer has been known to drop clues like “Easter eggs” before the release of her songs. The title and author’s name will be announced on June 13th.

The mysterious book is said to be a biography with 40 color photos and 544 pages. The Swifties put the pieces of the puzzle together and found that the number of sides, 5 + 4 + 4, adds up to 13 – the singer’s lucky number.

Also date for re-release as an indication

The publication date of the book should also be a clue. The book will be available in stores worldwide on July 9th. July 9th is the date mentioned in the lyrics to Swift’s song “Last Kiss,” a track from her third album, Speak Now.

The singer will release this album as “Taylor’s Version” on July 7th. This re-release is about the six albums Swift recorded for the Big Machine label under the helm of Swift’s despised music manager Scooter Braun.

Fans are also speculating that Swift’s announcement on social media that she would use the salutation “Dear reader” for the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) was a hint that a book would follow. Following this speculation, “#TaylorSwiftBook” has now racked up more than a million views on TikTok as fans share their guesses and excitement about a potential book.

Book probably not by Swift

According to Variety, the book’s author isn’t the famous singer because she’s in the middle of a concert tour, but the large print run and short lead time suggest it’s a famous author. If the book isn’t Swift’s memoir, the booksellers promise to refund or cancel the orders.

But speculation about the book continues. According to the Guardian, several people from the publishing industry have unofficially confirmed that the book is from the K-pop group BTS. The book has already made it into the top ten sales charts on Amazon.
