Texans will have the opportunity to live a unique experience: travel to the spacebut they will have to get it right a “scratch off” in a special lottery announced by the Texas Lottery and the company Space Perspective.
Both organizations partnered to send eight people to the edge of space in a luxurious spaceship in 2025the Texas Lottery announced in a statement.
“The Texas Lottery will be the first lottery in the world to offer flights on Space Perspective’s Neptune spacecraft as a second chance prize”, with the promotion Space Perspective Cash Adventure that “is related to the new scratch ticket game $1,000,000 Cash Blast”.
The announcement was made during La Fleur’s 2023 Austin Conference, an event of the lottery industry which was held at the AT&T Hotel & Conference Center in Austin the week before.

The promotion Space Perspective Cash Adventure consists of a series of draws, followed by a large group trip to Florida with daily cash prizes and? ends with a drawing in which four participants will be selected for the trip on the Neptune spacecraft.
Each of the winners and their respective guests “will live the transformative experience of seeing Earth from the edge of space.”
But, as if that were not enough, the promotion also includes a cash prize of $100,000 to be drawn among the four winners During flight. The trip will last six hours.

The $1,000,000 Cash Blast is like other $20 games in that it offers maximum prizes of $1 million that can be won with the ticket, the press release stated, as well as additional cash prizes ranging from $20 to $100,000.
Since the first ticket was sold in 1992, the Texas Lottery has generated $38 billion in revenue for the state and distributed $83.8 billion in prizes to lottery players. As of 1997, it has contributed $32.1 billion to the School Fund Foundation, which supports public education in the state.
