The bathing mermaid still lives on her “Baywatch” role today.

More than 30 years ago, Pamela Anderson (55) slipped into the red bathing suit for the first time as lifeguard CJ Parker. And that made her a sex symbol worldwide: more than 1.1 billion TV viewers in over 150 countries watched!

Now the native Canadian has written down her memoirs (“Love, Pam”) and tells what has stayed with her from the time on “Baywatch” to this day. And that’s not a lot financially…

The sex symbol of the 90s has had an eventful life so far. Pam herself once said of herself, “My boobs have had a fabulous career, I just trotted along with them.”

Not everything has gone smoothly in her life (six husbands, but Mr. Right wasn’t there). But she also did a lot of things right (two great sons and a world career).

Pamela Anderson: “Baywatch” brings her so much money

Let’s take a look at Pam’s account: When she joined “Baywatch” in 1992, she says she was paid just $1,500 per episode. In 1997 – her last “Baywatch” year – it should have been $ 300,000 according to “Variety”. Sounds like a lot, but it’s a lot less than what David Hasselhoff (70) was paid into the account. He was not only the big star, but also the producer of the hit series for many years.

You just didn’t have the know-how to make one negotiating a decent fee for herself, Pamela Anderson tells the magazine in a recent interview “Variety”.

Today, 34 years after the very first Baywatch episode, the stories of the Malibu lifeguards are being repeated in many countries. Or are available for streaming, as is currently the case with AmazonPrime.

But anyone who thinks that will make Pamela Anderson’s piggy bank tinkle is wrong. The licenses bring her just over $1,000 a year.

Nevertheless, Pamela will not have to starve. The 2020 marriage to actor Jon Peters (77) will one day make her a few million richer – although the two divorced after just twelve days. The two have remained close friends to this day. And Jon has secretly stipulated in his will that his ex-wife will inherit a fortune after his death.

Opposite the magazine Varietysays the actor: “I will always love Pamela, she is always in my heart. In fact, I left her ten million dollars in my will. And she doesn’t even know that. No one knows. I’m saying it to you for the first time now. I probably shouldn’t say it. So that’s for her, whether she needs it or not.”

Pamela was married a total of six times, she has her two sons Dylan and Branden Lee with ex-husband Tommy Lee (60), the drummer and scandal rocker of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. After many scandals surrounding the men in her life, Pam is now enjoying her single life in her native Canada.

Together with five dogs and many books, she renounced the glamorous life in Hollywood and moved to her grandparents’ former farmhouse on Vancouver Island.
