Pragmata would have suffered a new delay due to a restart in its development, so it would be far from being a reality for now.
During the Capcom Showcase 2023, one of the most promising games of the Japanese company could be seen again: pragmata. However, what we received was not great news in this regard, because its appearance came hand in hand with a new delay, despite having small portions of gameplay. At the moment it is an absolute mystery when this curious proposal will be able to be enjoyed, but the latest information that come about it seem quite worrisomeeven more so considering that they come from one of the most reliable insiders in the sector.
The person in charge of letting us know this bad news is Dusk Golem, an eminence in terms of information concerning Capcom. In this way, he affirms that the reason for the delay of Pragmata is justified because at some point in its development a reboot occurred, with which the title was re-evaluated and took a different direction than originally planned. This explains that on this occasion there is no release window to receive the proposal, although having indicated a 2024 would have been counterproductive after two consecutive delays, without knowing if the indicated date could be met again.
Pragmata had a trailer showing the first gameplay of the game, but also a delay (to an unknown date for now), but ensure it’s being worked on and not cancelled.

However, Dusk Golem affirms that this is positive compared to other previous Capcom projects, such as Deep Down, since it means that development is ongoing under other terms, instead of being canceled. It will be time to wait to receive new information from Pragmata in the future.
The Pragmata team apologizes for the new delay
Without a doubt, it was one of the announcements that had the greatest impact during the Capcom Showcase 2023, so the Pragmata development team did not want to miss the opportunity to apologize to all those who were waiting to know even more details of the proposal. “The team is working hard to create the best game possible, but we need more time. We will continue to do our best to ensure that the final product is worth the wait. Thank you for your unconditional support,” they said in the statement.
Pragmata was initially scheduled for 2022, to later move to 2023 with a message from Diana apologizing. Now, its release date is undeterminedso it seems that it will take time for us to get the hang of it.
