The first week of hearings in the trial for the murder of Fernando Báez Sosa concludes this Friday with the testimony of a dozen witnesses. For this day, the testimony of the receptionist of a hotel in Villa Gesell who saw how the defendants fled from the scene of the crime in the early morning of January 18, 2020, the owner of the house that the defendants rented in that seaside city, is scheduled, experts and police.

From 9 o’clock, a dozen witnesses will testify before the Oral Criminal Court (TOC) 1 of Dolores, where the trial of the eight defendants is being followed – Máximo Thomsen (23), Enzo Comelli (22), Matías Benicelli (23) , Blas Cinalli (21), Ayrton Viollaz (23), and Luciano (21), Ciro (22) and Lucas Pertossi (23) – for the beating to death of the young law student outside the Le Brique nightclub.

Yesterday, they testified, among others, the young woman who performed CPR on Fernando after the attack and another who, according to what she said, heard how one of the defendants said: “Don’t worry, I’m going to take him as a trophy.”

As happened in the four hearings this week, the presence in the Dolores Courts of Silvino Báez and Graciela Sosa, Fernando’s parents, is expected, as well as the eight accused of the crime.
