The arrival in France of the series from the license The Last of Us has long been problematic. Produced by HBOit should quite naturally have gone through SCO in France, as the agreement between the two entities implied. Except that in view of the acquisition ofSCO and D’Orange Studio by the group Canal +, this collaboration was stopped dead. For a time expected with a serious delay with respect to the American broadcast, Craig Mazin’s show will finally land on the platform Prime Video ofAmazon January 16.

A happy conclusion for all those who were eagerly awaiting the series, which follows another agreement, this time between Warner Bros. Discovery and Prime Video. The two structures have come together with a view to creating the “Warner pass“. As stated in an official press release, the latter “will include all of HBO and all 12 Warner Bros. channels. Discovery on paid subscription” without yet mentioning the price of this offer, containing all the same major series like Game Of Thrones, Chernobyl – without forgetting the next ones to come – as well as Discovery Channel or Cartoon Network among others. Note that the series The Last of Us will be available in VF and VOST, without any additional cost, “simple” gondola head of this pass.
