The spin-off of Han Solo changes writers: Lando is "file" himself to write his own series in the Star Wars universe

Among all the projects that are coming out of the Star Wars universe, one of the ones that we are receiving the least news about is Landau. He spin-off of Han Solomade by donald glover in the role of Lando Calrissian, he hasn’t had any progress for years.

This news came recently from its screenwriter Justin Simien, who has been on the project from the beginning. Well, following an article by Above the Linewe have been able to learn that Simien had been out of the project since summer last year and that, after this, they have been Donald and Stephen Glover who have been in charge of the script from the series.

Apparently the Glover brothers’ work was locked away so no one would know. Now, months later, we know that the very same Lando Calrissian he will write his own story, something that is quite funny, knowing that this character is the most insightful and clever in the Star Wars saga.

It won’t be the first time that Glover and his brother have teamed up for a series: this quirky duo even won multiple Emmys for the acclaimed series Atlanta, so we can rest assured that Lando is in very good hands.. As for the release date, it is unknown when it will arrive, but seeing that it was not mentioned at the last convention of Star Warswe probably won’t see a major update to the series until 2024 at the earliest.
