In recent days, a leak by Insider Gaming has anticipated the arrival of a retail version of The Witcher 3 Complete Edition, the updated edition of the action-RPG by CD Projekt RED for the new generation consoles. The Polish house confirmed what was leaked, and released some preliminary information on the contents.

Going directly to Insider Gaming, CD Projekt has confirmed the arrival of The Witcher 3 Complete Edition in physical format for the month of January. The company also provided an overview of what players can expect from this version of the game:

“CD Projekt Red is planning the physical release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition for end of January 2023. Will be available for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The package will include a disc containing the base game and expansions Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine. All DLC and official updates released in the past seven years by CD Projekt Red will also be part of this set, including the free next-generation update, with dozens of visual, performance and technical improvements (including ray tracing support, timing loading speeds on consoles, a variety of mods built into the experience, and more). The case will only contain the aforementioned disc. Pricing and availability are determined by retailers in each territory.”. CD Projekt Red is still keeping the price and launch date silent, although according to the Insider Gaming report, the game will cost between $30 and $35 and will arrive on January 26th.

Geralt’s voice actor recently criticized Netflix’s The Witcher for straying too far from the source material.
