Mexico City.- Legislators from Morena and the PAN exchanged accusations for the so-called real estate cartel and what the PAN called the “Andy cartel”, in reference to the contracts obtained by companies of friends of Andrés López Beltrán, son of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador .
The Morenista César Cravioto reproached the PAN for wrapping itself in the banner of transparency, when in 2018 Santiago Taboada’s campaign slogan was “total transparency in all constructions” and he is currently involved in the so-called real estate cartel.
Cravioto doubted that the cartel would end, because in the Chamber of Deputies Acción Nacional has Jorge Romero, whom he described as the “head.” And he bet that far from sanctioning the deputy, the next national president of the party will do so.
“This will never end, it will never end because the PAN has as its parliamentary coordinator in the Chamber of Deputies the one who heads the real estate cartel in Mexico City. And I make you a bet: he will be the next national president of the party,” he said.
The senator affirmed that the PAN is spreading the real estate cartel to its political allies and accused the candidate of the Va por México alliance in the Government of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez, of having set up his equivalent in that state.
Aleida Alavez, vice coordinator of Morena in San Lázaro, indicated that the real estate cartel is a sign that the right uses power to traffic with its influences and with its officials the mass of very juicy businesses with the real estate industry.
He affirmed that all this framework is accredited through investigations and judicial processes.
The vice coordinator of the PAN in San Lázaro, Jorge Triana, spoke in favor of investigating and accusing whoever has to be accused, but he demanded that everyone be measured with the same yardstick, because for several years, to take To carry out any construction in Mexico City, a permit from the central government is required; that is, from the one headed by Claudia Sheinbaum.
The deputy said that Morena and the capital’s Prosecutor’s Office do not care that the case falls for violating the principle of secrecy by disclosing information from the investigation at a press conference, because what interests them is “fishing for little votes.”
Triana criticized Morena for avoiding talking about the “Andy cartel” and demanded that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador do an introspection exercise about what is happening with his family, since until now, his brothers, his cousin and his children are the ones who have capitalized on its power.
“I want to call on the President of the Republic to do an exercise, to tell us what is happening with his family, this is no longer normal. Pío and Martín López Obrador caught taking wads of bills, cousin Felipa, contract workers in Pemex, the son José Ramón, his mansion in Houston, now the other son Andy, an influence peddling network that is duly accredited,” he said.
Questioned by the Morenista Ricardo Moreno about whether he is not ashamed to defend the PAN members involved in the real estate cartel, Triana said that he would be more ashamed to defend characters such as the head of the CFE, Manuel Bartlett, the Prosecutor Alejandro Gertz Manero for putting jail his in-laws to keep his brother’s inheritance, Ignacio Ovalle before the embezzlement of 15 billion pesos in Segalmex or the “Andy cartel”.
Senator Kenia López, who went up to the rostrum with an image of Andrés López Beltrán, affirmed that the President is concerned that there is a cartel in his own house: that of his son.
“Today we found out that Andy, surely his name is Andrés, in his lodge, among his group of friends they travel, get drunk, use the money of the Mexicans and use the contracts to become disgusting millionaires. Today we find out that Andy’s cartel demonstrates clearly what Morena is like,” he said.
PAN demands to investigate influence peddling of AMLO’s son
After the plot of the contracts for the friends of the son of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador became known, the PAN leadership urged the President to “start at home” and open an investigation related to influence peddling.
“This government is the most opaque, corrupt and cynical in the history of Mexico. For this reason, we demand that the President of Mexico start with his home; in fact, he should request an exhaustive investigation regarding influence peddling committed by his son,” held the blue and white.
Marko Cortés, leader of the PAN, affirmed during an event -in which the blue and white, PRI and PRD closed ranks around the Mayor of Benito Juárez, Santiago Taboada- that the government headed by López Obrador has become the most corrupt but, at the same time, in the most cynical, and in the one who abuses power the most.
Cortés also demanded that Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard, Mario Delgado and Claudia Sheinbaum be punished for being “directly responsible for the death of 26 people” after the collapse of Metro line 12.
The Latinus portal reported last night that a group of companies belonging to friends or acquaintances of Andrés López Beltrán have obtained federal government contracts for more than 100 million pesos.
